Lily's First Chanukah

Lily is celebrating her first Chanukah! We had potato latkes and matzo ball soup, lit the candles and enjoyed great company. Grandma Denise, Daddy, Mommy, and Aunt Abby all helped celebrate Lily's first Chanukah celebration.
Happy Chanukah to all, and we can't wait for Christmas!

Shawn's Graduation

Posted by Picasa
Shawn graduated with high honors last night from Belmont University. He attained his Master's in Sport Administration with a perfect 4.0 GPA! We are so proud of him! (Don't mind my loud screaming during the ceremony)

Thanksgiving Trip

Lily took her first airplane trip this November to New York!! We visited with Aunt Lauren and Uncle Mike, and cousins Julia and Tyler. Then headed to Woodstock so that Lily could make her grand debut to the crew there. Grandpa Dick and Grandma Susan had a great time introducing Lily to all the Woodstockers! I have included some pictures now, but will add more in a few days. After that we drove to Long Island where Shawn flew in to meet us. We then spent a really nice long weekend with Grandma Denise and Grandpa Tom. Lily met her Godfather, Joey, for the first time. She also met Uncle Bobby and Aunt Chrissy, Aunt Janie (who also just became a first time grandmother to baby Calvin in Seattle!), and Uncle Lenny. After a really nice time, the family hopped in the car and drove to Boston where Lily would meet her Great Grandpa Stanley!! They both had a marvelous time meeting eachother and we have some great video and pictures to capture the moment. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner (a day early) in Boston with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Eric, and of of course great grandpa Stanley. Great grandpa kept saying "what a great family we have, and I am glad to be a part of it." It was special for all of us.
When we arrived home in Woodstock the Goldman-Fagan crew, orphaned on actual Thanksgiving, crashed the Cohen-Minsky-Kinlen-Maroney dinner and all enjoyed a little Thanksgiving dinner and visiting. Finally, on our last day in New York, we all celebrated together at a party at the Goldman's where we shared our wonderful family with all the people we love! We - Shawn, Lily, and I were so grateful for all the visitors and phonecalls we received. Please enjoy some of our pictures from the visit-they will follow in a few postings due to the amount. We would love to see some of yours too, please email them when you can.
