Valentine's Day

Our Valentine's Day started out with a visit to Red Caboose Park where Lily went down the slide, went on the swings, and had a great time!! Then Lily opened her Valentine's cards from her Dad and Aunt Karen (Snoopy of course!!), and her Dad even got her a Valentine's Penguin! The day capped off with some shenanigans in the tub! We love you all, Happy Valentine's Day.

Lily has been growing into a precious little girl. She has started eating some rice cereal here and there, she loves to smack her lips and click her tongue on the roof of her mouth and she loves to stand with someone holding her. She isn't too keen on sitting yet, but that is probably because she just plops over! She is rolling front to back and is almost rolling back to front but she still needs some coaxing in that department. She is a master at fine motor skill and hand eye coordination. She must have her mom's genes, just lie there for a year and then move. Although she must have her dad's athletic skill, she wakes up in a full 180 degree turn from where she went to bed, and at playtime she scoots herself in a half cirlcle to reach the toy she wants! She has her 6 month check up next week and we will report on her statistics then.
