Lily is becoming quite the young lady. The weather has been so-so and therfore we don't have many fun and exciting stories to tell. Just some cute pictures from month 7. Lily had a cold for about 2 weeks and her pediatrician weighed her in at 16 lbs 8 oz. at one of our visits. And, she has a tooth!! Or maybe 2 teeth but she won't let me get in there to look, I can only feel the sharp edges and see one of them,(bottom fronts)! Wow is she growing! She is also talking all the time, "dadadada" and "babababa", and of course "aaaghooo". Blowing rasberries and kicking her legs like a bicycle are still favorites, and now she is running in place when she is standing up being supported. She loves kicking those legs! Lily is also eating more exciting meals these days. She likes various fruits and veggies, cereal, and a mix of all those things together. She started holding her bottle a little, and tried a sippy cup this week. She's definately getting the handle on things that big kids do. Still no crawling or transitional movements from lying to sitting but she likes to watch the other kids accomplish these things. I think she'll do it when she is confident she can...or she'll take after her mom and not do any of these things!!

Lily's 6th and 7th months
Lily has reached her 7th month and she is reaching many milestones in her young life! At her 6th month checkup she was 28 inches long and 15.8 lbs. She is one of the tallest kids in her age group! She has many loves in her life, including her dog Luke, but here are some of her favorite things: food (see picture of her feeding herself carrots), a standing musical table from uncle eroc, her standing exersaucer (the "spaceship" as we call it), her dumbbell rattles (she's loved these since day one), and balloons! She also loves to turn the pages in her books and stick her tongue out of her mouth at all times. She has been able to sit alone for a few weeks and has recently started to play in a sitting position, but she still doesn't love to do it for long periods. Lily has been giving us all colds, back and forth, and we are looking forward to some nice weather so that we can get outside to play more. We have been walking, on nice days, with our friend Hannah who has a red Radio Flyer wagon...Lily can't wait to get in there with her, but she is still too wobbly.
